Yesterday was a very special day for my island of Tobago. It was election day for us to vote for a new leader (or the incumbent) of the Tobago House of Assembly.
It was so exciting to receive the results last night. Interestingly enough, these results were consistent with the ‘in school’ election drill that we did last Friday. The pictures below show the students hosting their election campaign and debate. The voting process followed. We tried to make it as authentic as possible. See the ballot cards and ballot box above?
