We made Mother’s Day Cards out of index cards today. I used index cards because I wanted them to do some writing, using adjectives, to describe their mothers. Most students followed this format. Others did the adjectives in a cluster with the drawing done at the center. This was one of the easiest types of cards I’ve ever done because the preparation time is short. All I needed was assorted index cards, tape, scissors, and foam heart shapes. We just started the final term for the school year and it will be over soon by the start of July. So, I did not go ‘all out’ with our Mother’s day stuff this year.
