I created this list of back to school picture books for teachers to find the right books for their class. Many parents and teachers feel so helpless when their child’s stomach is in knots because it’s the first day of school in a new class. Children worry about fitting in, making friends and liking their new teacher.  There are books out there that speak directly to kids and their fears about school. These are a few. I have arranged the listing according to grade level. Did you know that all of the books below can be read on most devices?

I love to find awesome classroom decor ideas. As an Amazon affiliate, I may earn a commission for purchases using my links. The ideas and paid links below are Back to School Books for each grade.
