Fiesta Classroom Theme Ideas

Fiesta themed classroom decor ideas

A fiesta classroom theme embraces diversity and uses lots of paper decorations that are vivid with a mixture of stripes and bright colors. The two main paper decorations that you will see are the popular paper fans and papel picado tissue paper banners. I’d like to see more of the papel picado being used. Especially for lettering to make bulletin boards and welcome banners. I’ll be on the look out for these because I really wanted to add more ideas to this post. TpT has some here. I want to stay away from triggering elements like sombreros and tacos and you should too. These elements are stereotypical and have been really overdone.

I found a teacher through TpT, her store is My Spanish 2 Go, check out her free video showing how you can use papel picado letters to make your bulletin boards. The one in the bienvenidos picture above came from her designs.

I love to find awesome classroom decor ideas. As an Amazon affiliate, I may earn a commission for purchases using my links. The ideas and paid links below are based on Amazon finds that are great for making a fiesta themed classroom.
