Make a DIY Advent Calendar pocket chart: A numbered pocket chart can be used as an advent calendar. If you use a blank pocket chart with plastic pockets, number stickers can be added to them. The pockets are only big enough for small items click classroom rewards. Teachers put shopkins and candy in them. See my classroom reward ideas to find tiny items, such as stickers, that would be most ideal for the pocket charts. You can decorate the pocket chart by hot gluing Christmas themed wired ribbon around it.

Use a large pocket chart: This shoe holder has 24 pockets and it is the perfect size for an Advent Calendar with homemade gifts. Huge safety pins were used to secure the gifts. The pocket chart can be use after the Advent season for classroom storage.
